Accessibility at BluSky Richardson
BluSky Dental Richardson
Your access and communication needs belong in the planning of your dental visit. Tell the Richardson team what would help you use our services and understand your care. You can raise a request when booking or contact us before deciding on an appointment.
Planning an accessible visit
Call 613-829-5921 or use our contact information to discuss the arrangements you need. Describe the practical requirement, such as space for a mobility device, assistance with a form, a positioning concern or a particular way of communicating.
If you need information about the entrance, parking, washroom or movement through the office, ask the team to confirm the relevant details before travelling. Knowing the specific feature you need helps us give a useful answer rather than a general description of access.
Communication that works for you
You can request an explanation in a different format or at a different pace. Tell us if larger text, written instructions, a verbal explanation or additional time to consider information would help. We can discuss the appropriate arrangement with you.
An accessible conversation should also give you room to ask questions about treatment. If a form or instruction is difficult to understand or use, say so before signing or proceeding. A support person can help you communicate, but your own preferences and decisions remain central.
Support people, service animals and assistive devices
Let the team know about a support person, service animal or assistive device so the visit can be organized around your needs. Advance notice helps with preparation; it should not be treated as a general condition for access.
If a specific treatment-area arrangement needs discussion, the team will explain it and consider an appropriate way to provide access. Tell us what information you want shared with someone accompanying you, particularly during a private health discussion.
Accessibility feedback
If you encounter a barrier in the office or on the website, describe what you were trying to do and what prevented it. For a website issue, the page name and the format or device you were using can help identify the problem. You do not need to send private medical information to report a technical barrier.
Tell us how you would prefer to receive a response. You can also ask for another way to provide feedback if the available method is difficult to use.
